Should fictional characters have Twitter accounts?

I just started creating a map of scenes in Sonata: A Fantasy in One Movement, and I think I can have some fun creating Twitter accounts and tweeting as the main characters of the novel.

Of course, this could take on a life of its own.

New membership

I just joined the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers organization. I had to ignore Groucho Marx's advice "I'd never belong to a club that would have a member like me!"

Their site was also created in Drupal!

I look forward to hearing more from them and participating in events... as a writer!

The Visualization of Progress

a chart showing days vs. number of words

The novel, Sonata: A Fantasy in One Movment, was written as a winning project at National Novel Writing Month. They used Drupal (of course) and charts to visualize the progress of each writer.

The graphic shows the progress of my writing, where some days were slow, others were more productive, and the final weekend was insane!

A charitable act

I intend to sell digital versions of my book here at this website; I'm so excited at the prospect!

I don't pretend that I'm going to get rich from selling a self-published digital science-fiction novel, but if I make money, I'm going to spread it around, so to speak!

Drupal Association

I've just joined the Drupal Association, as I wanted to contribute to the group that helped make this website possible.

This is my first personally commercial website. I've created lots of commercial sites and apps. And as it turns out, I've created lots of personal sites (lots and lots of them, actually).

But this site exists to sell the eBook version of my first novel, and I wanted to give back some of what I get.

More on this whole "giving" thing later!
